The owner wanted a website with a lot of live content. She wanted to be able to sell physical and digital products, hold live broadcasts, have member pages with social networking and also sell her own online courses from the platform. She also wanted others to be able to sell their goods and services via her website.
Requirements specification;
- Live video broadcasts with real-time chat. Designed for both guests and members.
- A social meeting place with opportunities for networking with your own profiles, sharing photos, text, emojiis and opportunities to like, follow and make friends with other members.
- An archive for videos to be presented and sorted into different categories on the website.
- Build their own digital community for their members, with a high ceiling and a sense of security.
- Online store with options for appointment booking, calendar synchronization, course sales, waiting lists, deposit payment, etc.
- Possibility of selling other people's goods with built-in commission system
- Online course engine with high demands on design and content: video, text, submission, grading, quiz and scoring system.
- Discount schemes for members.
- High demands on uptime and performance, security and backup routines.
- Payment solutions with Stripe and Vipps, as well as log-in when using Vipps.
The solution is built on the WordPress platform, with WooCommerce plugins; (Memberships, Subscriptions, Bookings, Waitlists).
For live video, Vimeo and Zoom are used as providers, and Vimeo is also the off-site video archive. Using Vimeography Pro, we collect and present the video archives in a fast, flexible and elegant way.
BuddyBoss Pro with BuddyBoss Theme is used for the closed social network.
The BuddyBoss platform provides members with a safe and controlled meeting point and functions as a private Facebook server. The functionalities of BuddyBoss are many, and the only limit is your imagination.
For the online courses, the LearnDash engine is used as it is fully integrated with the BuddyBoss theme on the website and has very good flexibility.
The site is built up with Theme portals (10 in total), each of which has 3 levels below it, based on the associated membership plan.
The solution is hosted on our server with a maintenance agreement that ensures fast response and quick updates.
