The owner needed a new website for members with live video broadcast functionality and a safe gathering point for members, online school, selling their own e-books and booking classes.
Requirement spec;
- Live video broadcasts with real-time chat. Designed for both guests and members.
- A social meeting place with opportunities for networking with your own profiles, sharing photos, text, emojiis and opportunities to like, follow and make friends with other members.
- An archive for videos to be presented and sorted into different categories on the website.
- Ability to share audio files and podcasts - both open to guests and closed to members.
- Online store with options for selling e-books, time-booking, calendar synchronization, sale of courses, waiting lists, etc.
- Login and payment with Vipps
- High demands on uptime and performance, security and backup routines.
The solution is built on the WordPress platform, with WooCommerce plugins; (Memberships, Subscriptions, Bookings, Waitlists).
For live video, Zoom is the provider, and Vimeo is the off-site video archive.
Using Vimeography Pro, we collect and present the video archives (a total of 6 archives with 2000+ videos) in a fast, flexible and elegant way.
BuddyBoss Pro with BuddyBoss Theme is used for the closed social network.
The BuddyBoss platform provides members with a safe and controlled meeting point and functions as a private Facebook server. The functionalities of BuddyBoss are many, and the only limit is your imagination.
Online courses use the LearnDash engine, which is fully integrated with BuddyBoss.
The solution is hosted on our servers, and is maintained and secured by us. We have daily backup routines and also make backups before all updates are made.
We have also assisted with the customization and publishing of e-books as well as language modules that translate the entire website into 3 languages.
The solution was delivered on time and at a good price and the owner is very happy with the new platform.
